Portovenere Night Tour

Your experience starts with a 30 minute journey from La Spezia to Portovenere. During this nighttime boat ride, you can catch some stunning views of the Gulf of Poets, as lights from the seaside villages reflect off the water.

You will disembark at the fortified fishing village of Portovenere, which has fascinated numerous artists, directors, and visitors from across the world. You will be welcomed by the multicolored Palazzata, a row of colorful houses along the seafront. You can explore the village for about 2.5 hours. The medieval complex of the Church of San Pietro, which faces the Gulf of Poets is also one of the highlights of the village. You can also visit the parish Church of San Lorenzo, before going to the foot of the Doria Fortress, where you can catch panoramic views of the area.

Walk through the village at night, and you can choose to dine at one of the many restaurants along the sea, taking in the serene nighttime views. At 11:30 PM, you will go back to the docks, and take the motorboat back to La Spezia.
